In the context of this book, three highly significant in way too many senses areas of the Asian part of Russia are being conscientiously scrutinized. We are talking about the Kamchatka Peninsula, Irkutsk Oblast and the Republic of Sakha. As the reader will notice, these areas are characterized by more than a few tremendously notable characteristics, some of which remain slightly unknown to numerous people. Via this book, we attempt to prove the particular noteworthiness of these three case studies as regards both Russia and the former USSR.
