Beskrivelse
Isaac Madison was a young man of twenty who had a deep desire to see the Frontier. He had read about it in different newspapers. In one newspaper he read about the possibility of gold in the Black Hills.
Isaac had also read about the unrest between the northern states and the southern states, and that it might become an armed conflict. He had no interest in the problems between the north and south. With war a strong possibility, Isaac decided it would be a good time to leave, and a good time to see the Frontier.
He decided that he would keep a journal of his travels and his adventures into the Frontier. Little did Isaac realize what the future had in store for him.
The Journal of Isaac Madison is a fictional story. However, it contains a good deal of history of the United States and of the difficulties of traveling alone during the period of time covered by his Journal.
