The Jokeress

The Jokeress is a series of science fiction, fantasy, noir and suspense. In the initial book, The Jokeress: Emergence, Swann Lee, Louise "Louse" Vann, and Calista Bouvay are three scientists who have worked on the Nanorod project. This was a venture to attempt to arrest the aging process, and to find a cure for skin disease. However, the three were unknowingly used as guinea pigs in a larger scheme. The three women continually find themselves undergoing physical, psychological, and emotional changes which alter their destinies, and puts them in constant conflict with their good and dark sides. The Jokeress series also illustrates how we, as humans, can become consumed by our obsessions, and what can happen when those obsessions consume us. The Jokeress is not based on any characters from Batman. The Jokeress is a STATE OF MIND...
