The Joab Spirit: The Spirit of Disloyalty and Betrayal

Some talk of the "Jezebel Spirit," and the "Absalom Spirit," but we need awareness of "The Joab Spirit." Compared to these, "The Joab Spirit" is more sophisticated, more dangerous, more subtle, more treacherous, and more enduring. Absalom was the son of David, who openly rebelled against him and made a nearly successful attempt to take over his father's throne. Joab was commander-in-chief for 40 years alongside his master, King David, for a lifetime of loyal service. Or was it?
