Beskrivelse
Written in a spirit that embodies storytellers like the brothers Grimm and Guillermo Del Toro, The Isle of Children is a dark fairytale incorporating contemporary horror and mid-century fantasy.
Step back in time to an early 19th century orphanage and find yourself in the weathered shoes of a 14-year-old boy named Carlos, and follow along as he manages a harrowing escape, only to find himself lost at sea. Eventually, he awakens on a strange island and quickly realizes something is wrong. He makes his way to a large palace to find dozens of other children, and a lone figure watching over them, one they simply refer to as, Father. He quickly befriends a young girl named Isabella and together they begin to uncover the dark secrets of the island. Something big, and violent stalks the woods surrounding the mansion, something ancient and hungry, something that feeds upon fear and young flesh. Now, together they must try to find a way to kill the monster and free the children from an island that threatens to tear them apart.
