Beskrivelse

"De l'internationalisation des guerres : causes et conséquences hier, aujourd'hui et demain" is a historical and prospective study on the threats that endanger the very existence of humanity because of the warlike nature of man. The great international wars in history are reviewed: the Thirty Years War, the Crusades, the First and Second World Wars. The book places particular emphasis on the causes of these great wars: imperialism, religious intolerance, the dictatorship of the right of humanitarian intervention, the clash of civilizations, as well as other causes that constitute risks of triggering major conflicts. The author analyzes the consequences of these wars and invites to become aware of the danger of the globalization of conflicts on the life of humanity. In a forward-looking spirit, the book also looks at the wars of the future. Their potential causes and foreseeable consequences have been analyzed to evaluate the chances of survival of our species in the event of the use of weapons of mass destruction such as nuclear bombs.
