The Image of God

The church is bone of Christ's bone and flesh of His flesh. The body was quickened by the spirit in which we dwell. As Paul said, it is not I but Christ that lives in me. We are adopted into the beloved as children of God. Our life is hidden in Christ, who is the image of the invisible God. Because we have been placed in Christ we too are the image of God. Jesus therefore is now the first begotten of many brethren.
