The Highland Escape

The first time I met my neighbor, I was covered in toilet water. The second time? I was staring up his kilt. On accident, of course.

 

Just when life was looking up, things went from bad to worse. Promotion? Forget it. I'm lucky I'm not arrested. But when fate tossed me the keys to an old Scottish Inn-courtesy of a grandmother I never met-I couldn't pass up the opportunity. 

 

What have I got to lose? Everything, apparently.

 

With no clue how to run an inn, let alone fix it up, I turned to the one person that doesn't want to help me. A neighbor with an ax to grind. 



It doesn't matter how sexy he is-I wasn't going to fall for his charms. That is, until he came to my rescue in a moment of need.

 

There were worse places to wait out my fate than in the arms of the one person I didn't know I needed, but found myself falling for no matter what I did.

 

When the real world comes calling, I have a choice to make-go back to the comforts of my old life or dive headfirst into the chaos of the highlands.
