You've just left one job and are waiting for another, or you've just had a broken relationship and are searching for that special someone. Your finances have taken an unexpected hit from a broken down vehicle, and you're waiting on a loan to fix it. Your wife and family are looking forward to that great getaway you promised them, but money is short The list goes on and on in life. Whatever the reason, you are officially in the hallway, you've left the door of safety and are now stuck in the hallway of expectation, waiting and believing God for your promise of the abundant life. The Hallway of Expectation is exactly where James finds himself. He has started a new job in a new city and things are slow, real slow. James is a believer, God recently answered a prayer that James and his wife had, telling them to move to a new city with no jobs, or friends. They had family in the city, but that's not why James moved, he moved in answer to God's direction. Now he and Ann, his wife, are in the Hallway, with nothing but the dreams that God has given them, and His promises in the bible. One day while stopping to take a break on the way to a long work day in another city, James is met by his guardian angel, the angel that has been with him since his rebirth. The angel along with a host of others guides James as the Helper instructs them, James is to learn to speak the promises of God, using the letters, sometimes called keys to open the doors in the hallway. The enemy is there too, Scoffer and Deceiver, along with the Legion and others. All working to stop the children of God, sons and daughters, from getting their key into the lock of the door they must enter to move ahead. Through his journeys with the angels, James is taught about the shifts of the Holy Spirit, the due seasons, and most importantly he must learn to use the letters and keys. James is told to write it down, so that he can help the others who come and get stuck in the hallway. All of this while not mentioning it to Ann. He see's one lady overcome extreme oppression and anxiety, another couple get victory when their baby is born. Yet he also see's the enemy hard at work in all of these scenes, working to deny the children of God their victory. The dark ones don't let go so easily, but there is victory in the hallway, most times. While the characters and situations that are depicted are fictitious, using the promises of God are not. Throughout the book scripture is quoted to affirm the practical and powerful plan by God for His children to speak HIs written word, that it would accomplish what He had sent it for. Death and life being in the tongue, and a man stomach being filled with the produce of his lips. All of these promises are there for each of us today. Follow James example, "learn" to speak God's word, unleashing the purpose He sent it for, you. In the "contract" room James learns a few valuable lessons, lessons that we all should learn and remember to use. It's not enough just to remember, we need to learn to speak God's word. There are hundreds of famous pastors around the country, leading large churches, telling their congregations to speak positively over their lives to speak out for the blessing. In the Hallway of Expectation the reader will see examples of not just speaking positively, but speaking God's word. Over our life time our tongues have put into motion things that may have been hurtful. Our words even as non-believers had power. That power still has to run it's course, but now is the time to start speaking for the promises in our Father's word, we are joint heirs in Christ. That brings with it the awesome robe of righteousness, the ring of inheritance and the crown of our position in Christ. He took all of our sin, weakness, illness and gave us a place in heaven forever, as joint heirs. The promises in the letters, the keys, open every door in the Hallway of Expectation, use you
