The Half Purpleople

Morana, a Purpleople, narrates her long voyage. She travels to Earth after humans abduct her family and the other Purpleople. She explores her true identity, feeling strange because half of her skin was coated in a rich purple and the other half was pale like a human. The journey begins with the aim of saving her loved ones, but quickly devolves into a road of darkness, betrayal, and grief.
