The Guardians at the Door

One night, Kimberly Stowe, a seventeen-year-old who just graduated from high school, is drawn from her bedroom window to a hill in the Adirondack Forest that has always given her strength and comfort. But on this night, a powerful blue light sweeps her away to another universe. In this new land, she makes friends with a variety of animals that seemingly have no fear of humans. She's beginning to wonder if she's completely alone when a gargantuan beast that appears to be half man and half lizard attacks her. He's dressed like a colossal soldier, wearing huge black boots, an enormous metallic armor plate and skintight trunks. And he's carrying a weapon. It's only then that Kimberly's protector appears. His name is Tamor, and he's a strange and wondrous warrior who says he not only wants to protect her but the Earth itself. Kimberly is about to find out that an incredible military empire led by a supernatural demon without a soul is on the brink of attacking her planet.
