This book is not intended to be a history of aviation during this period, nor is it an autobiography of Captain Parrott. Rather, it is a firsthand account of this amazing time in aviation as told by one of its most passionate participants. So great is his love of aviation that Doug likes to say that "I was employed by Northwest Airlines for 32 years but never worked a day".
