The Gospel Of Thomas: A Literal Translation Of The Hidden Sayings Of Jesus

The Gospel of Thomas is unique and engaging, and while there are as many as five contemporary translations of this book, this literal translation is a departure from biased opinions and translations that seem to focus on, or skirt around, topics that are taboo. I have found during my translation of this text several discrepancies with other translations which seem to be purposeful to avoid the unorthodox views (and taboo nature) the literal translation would present.
