The Good Pirate is a children's tale about a Little Pirate who wants to be just like his dad and the crew, until he discovers all the terrible things that pirates do! The morale of this timeless tale? Don't do something because others do. Follow your heart, and do what makes you happy, too.
This children's book is recommended for ages 4-8, and the entire story is told in rhyme making it delight to read anytime!
The Good Pirate is a story we can all relate to: wanting to fit in to be like our parents, friends, and people we look up to. For many, that means doing things that don't feel right. The story drives home the moral that we should always be true to ourselves and follow our hearts - even when that means being different, breaking free of stigmas and antiquated ways, and forging our own path to happiness.
When we follow our hearts and not change for others, sometimes others change for the best.
