The only ones who fall harder than gods are those who presume to create them.
The unnatural monsters of the Shingora were designed to be perfect killing machines. Aleena and Baezha, master warrior and adept sorceress, barely defeated them over a year ago. But the experience left them crushed by guilt-while they saved many people, they failed others.
Now they learn that a group called the God Makers was responsible for creating those aberrations, and the sisters have a single goal: put them out of business. Permanently.
But that goal is not as simple as it seems. The sisters are hobbled by their sense of failure. The God Makers have made their creations even deadlier and intend to unleash them on the populace. They also want to create the ultimate abominations¿by experimenting on the sisters.
To save their people and their family from unstoppable killing machines, Aleena and Baezha must first save themselves from the God Makers' experiments while trying to accomplish the most difficult task of all-forgiving themselves.
Though based on events in The Eighth Hell, this is a stand-alone novel.
