Beskrivelse

The volume will be definitely used (and designed as such) as a textbook in the newly created Chair of Science, Technology and Gender Studies at Friedrich-Alexander-Universitat Erlangen-Nurnberg, Germany (Prof. Maria Rentetzi). Given the number of senior scholars contributing to this collection, we expect that the book will be used for teaching at several other universities. STS and the history and sociology of science and technology form a relatively stable core in many universities worldwide and, interestingly, is now a formal part of Chinese higher education as well. The book bridges Science and Technology Studies with recent discussions in Feminist New Materialism(s).
