"No matter what happens, I'll see this through...to the end." Blain McTavish's parents recently died, within a suspiciously short time of each other. Before that, he lived a peaceful life as a farmer. He had no worries in the world. Now, two mysterious women have arrived from England, and they're trying to protect him from harm. But who would want to hurt him? And why does he feel compelled to run naked in the forest at night? Afton O'Malley wished she could be a better Druid. When her mentor, the Sorceress of the Ancients, asks Afton to accompany her to the States, Afton is eager to take on the task. When she meets Blain, the feelings he stirs in her are proof positive that magic is more than just casting spells and shapeshifting.
