The Fruits of the Spirit

Fruit of the Spirit is mentioned in several areas of the Bible. However, the most applicable passage is Galatians 5:22-23 where Paul actually lists out the fruits. Paul used this list to show the contrast between a Godly character and one that is focused on fleshly concerns. These are not just individual "fruits" (attributes) from which to pick and choose. Rather, the fruit of the Spirit is one ninefold "fruit" that characterizes all who truly walk in the Holy Spirit. In order to understand the fruit of the Spirit, we must first understand who the Spirit is, what He does and how He helps us live our lives pleasing to God. The questions are: What are the Fruits of the Spirit? How can you develop them? What does that mean for you? What fruits of the Spirit do you have?
