The Four Faces of Patrisha

The Four Faces of Patrisha is a novel within a novel, a psychological drama disguised as a suspense thriller, as it is the protagonist herself who writes her own story from the mental hospital in which she is momentarily interned. Or rather, who invents an imaginary character to write it for her as way of purging the concealed guilt she carries from the childhood shared with a twin sister whose personality, after living the traumas sown by Patrisha, now cohabits the same body. Only when Patrisha's miraculous recovery takes place will her doctor discover who her patient really is: from why her hated sister, her beloved husband and children nor anyone else had come to visit her, to her life as a world renowned cellist. The consequences of her discovery will be both unforeseen and dangerous... not least for her.
