The Final Chase

I made a bet with a man about pedicures and... lost. Now I have to pay up.

Of course, it wasn't just any man. No, it had to be to Jake Wild, the owner of Wild Rescue for exotic animals.

Now he's on the hunt.

And I'm his prey.

Jake's everything I'm not-my polar opposite. Where I'm spiked heels and my girly salon, he's dirt and his feral creatures. Like the beasts he cares for, he's got that carnal edge. He's the type of man you'd crawl on hands and knees for. And when he has you trapped beneath him, he bites.

A chance meeting and a bet may have started this undeniable attraction between us, but I'm not giving my heart and soul away that easily, even if I do melt at every one of his wolfish grins.
