After a twenty-year war fought over the misuse of cybernetic body enhancements (called mods), soldiers unable to transition back into civilian life turn to intergalactic piracy and become known as marauders.



Orinthia Anton works in the family business as a marauder hunter. But times are tough for her. After a rapid series of events leaves her jobless, homeless, and without support or contact from her remaining family members, she leaves her life as a marauder hunter behind, and becoming a marauder herself!



After joining the crew of The Fera, Orinthia finds that life as a marauder is nothing like the imagined. Tasked with finding the creator of The Fera's Captain Ahto, a lethal AI-based machine leftover from the war, Orinthia faces challenges, adventure, and betrayal as she learns to adapt to her new life.
