Often times when injustice is at its peak, some of us stop to ask why? Some go beyond that and act to address that injustice. This story is about a young girl who found her response to an unfair public Justice system that served the needs of the perpetrator and not of the victim. When does a murder not warrant conviction? When there is impunity, or in her case Magic. Either ways, injustice was served to her on a platter. This play is a satire but could also be an on going case in any country where the public justice system failed the ones they were set up to serve in the first place. Maya and Shakti are both betrayed but they both find their own answers...
