Kapitan Steiner is despondent at the opening of WW1. His family has been left behind in Japan. Not only is he without them, but he is without his crew, his greater family, his pack of Fenrir. On top of that, the Kriegsmarine dismantled his ship, the Zeewulf, to study Herr Tesla's modifications and his "Peace Ray". The Kapitan is a man unmoored and without a course, until Herr Tesla. convinces Kaiser Wilhelm II to send them all on a new mission for more ancient technology that will help Deutschland to win the war.
