Five young boys, neighbors and friends, face a long and boring summer vacation. They decide to form a club to do lots of things, to learn new things, and to keep themselves busy. The Dynamos begin with a long bicycle day-trip, then they proceed to an overnight camping trip. And that's when the real excitement begins, when their long boring vacation becomes The Summer of 1979.
