The Drive: From A to Banjul

On an early English Boxing Day morning, two recently reunited school friends set off to drive through seven countries on their way to the Gambia for the Dakar Challenge. Would the old friendship be re-cemented or would one of them end up burying the other in the desert?

More than just a regular girl's road trip, Kate and Rach persist through the usual car troubles, dodgy border crossings and accidentally camping in a minefield. Both practical, yet slightly clueless and full of excitement, the girls draw on their past knowledge of childhood adventures and expatriate life to plan and accomplish the drive of a lifetime.
