Beskrivelse
This book is a collection of seventeen short stories about time and how to cheat it. Of all the parameters of the Multiverse time is the strangest, once you accept that something rather than nothing exists because of 'quantum fluctuations' or some such clever invention of the physicists. Some hold that time exists to prevent everything happening at once but this turns out not to be the case. Across the infinite and eternal Multiverse everything does happen at once: it always did and always will. Yesterday, or a billion years ago, or the far future, are out there if only we knew how to look. Perhaps we cannot travel physically in time, except by living forever as we will see, but surely the mind and soul can? How else do we explain the universal human cultural belief in prophets, oracles and seers? Dreams can open many gateways. Although oracles can be tricky things as the ancient Greeks remind us. And what about magic...if it exists? So our stories will explore all the possible loop holes in time...but be warned: paradox can cause severe headaches if taken in large doses.
