The Dog Who Couldn't Bark

Jasmine is a 10 year old girl who is determined to get a dog. Through her wit and determination, Jasmine convinces mom to adopt a dog.

She learns about different dog breeds and how important it is to that the dogs' needs be a good fit for the adopting family. She learns about how many dogs need a home and how important it is to rescue dogs instead of purchasing them from breeders.

Jasmine attends a local adoption event, where a little maltese and bichon mix walks towards her and sits on her lap. It is love at first sight!

When Jasmine and mom go to pick up Charlie the dog at his foster home, they learn that there is another doggie friend together with Charlie. Jasmine goes back home with 2 dogs instead of one!

Although Charlie is an expert barker, Henry does not know how to bark. When Henry turns 14, Paul teaches him how to bark, showing that even old dogs can learn new tricks.
