Princess Ruby of Padstow lives in a world of dreams.

Cursed by the evil Witch of Wadebridge, only the love of a heroic prince can wake her. Ida, her fairy godmother, searches all the Kingdoms of England for a worthy prince without success. Now Ida needs to come up with a new plan. Hope is in a dog shelter and a little black wiry Cairn Terrier. Heroes come in all shapes and sizes.
