Somewhere between 'the Screwtape Letters' and 'This Present Darkness, ' Demon Grammaticus, a retired cynical demon, is commissioned by the devil to write an account of the strange man in Nazareth who is saying that he is the son of God. Grammaticus looks forward to the opportunity of spilling the beans about what really goes on behind the scenes. Did Satan want Jesus to be crucified? (after all he tried, through Peter's voice, to get Jesus to avoid the cross - "Get behind me Satan") Was he then countermanded by Religious demons? There is, of course, no loyalty among demons. A fun fresh way of reading the age old Gospel story and just what our Lord Jesus accomplished by his life, death and resurrection. Can demons deceive even the elect so that when Jesus returns He will find no faith on the earth, no expectance for His return? (Co-authored with Phil Anderton)
