The Day the Colours Went Away

At just five years of age, Varley doesn't knowwhy the world has come to a standstill.He doesn't know why he can't go to school, can't see his friends, and can't go to the park.

He doesn't know why he's stuck at home with Mum and Dad.

All the colour's faded from Varley's life, and he doesn't understand his feelings of confusion, frustration, and anger.

But a chance meeting leads to a glimmer of hope and, with that, the possibility of a whole new outlook.

The Day the Colours Went Away is a poignant exploration of adolescent depression through a child's perspective, and also includes fun and educational activities for kids to do with their teachers at school, or at home with Mum and Dad.
