The Darkness Is Raging: A 13Horror.com Finalist Screenplay

Near the Foster Family home in New Hampshire, there is a forest located beside their house. When Tim Foster is bringing his two daughters on a walk through this forest, they come across a dead tree bearing an outline of a man's face seared into its stump. He obliterates it, resulting in a curse placed on his wife. It's up to their teenage daughter, Olivia, to undo this curse.

Olivia seeks to free her mother, who is trapped in a horrible web in the center of the forest near the dead tree.

She encounters a dark being who appears as a typical ghost image from her nightmares. This "Ghost" transports her into the spiritual realm where she meets the man whose face was imprinted on the dead tree centuries earlier and learns why he was sacrificed by an evil worshiping group.

The Ghost demands her to enter a vortex that results her from coming out into a forest in Ireland. There, she has to get something the Ghost has requested of her. The final demand is too much too great of a sacrifice for her to make.
