The letters are excited for a new day of Music Class, when letter K has a confusing realization! The word "music" ends with her sound, but not her letter! Together, she and letter C explore the land of Alphabetia, practicing their newly learned rule that helps them know which one of them is making the sound in each word. Phonics Rule: C, K, and CK

When a, o, or u are near, c is the letter that you'll hear. With e, i, or y ahead, k steps in instead.

For a short vowel sound, here's the trick: end with ck, it's that quick!

For a long vowel or consonant, you'll see, end with a k, it's the key!

(ie. case, key, rock)
