Think Culture highlights qualities that help any organization achieve a high-performance culture. As the founder & CEO of CultureIQ I've had the honor to advise more than 1,000 organizations on how to align their company culture with their business strategy. I'm also an adjunct professor at NYU Stern School of Business, which affords me access to academic resources for my culture research. Think Culture is written in easy-to-read language highlighting 10 core culture qualities based on their relevancy and link to high performance and employee engagement. A high performance culture achieves better financial and nonfinancial results than those of their peers over a long period of time. Financial returns include revenue, profitability, return on investment, and shareholder value. Non-financial results include employee engagement, retention, and talent acquisition. Each chapter shares examples of what each of these culture qualities look like, in addition to highlighting data compiled from 1,000+ companies and relevant research from industry experts. Each chapter also features real-life culture stories written by 50 CEOs and business leaders, sharing how focusing on culture transformed their respective organization. Leaders from American Express, ConEdison, Bazaarvoice and dozens of high-performing companies contributed stories. The conclusion of each chapter lists digestible tips to help readers implement similar culture programs at their company.
