The Cuckold's Clock

Michael Chance teaches high school literature to the unwilling and uncaring. But in his chest beats the heart of a writer. That summer, on his vacation, he has promised himself he will complete the Great American Novel. Michael and wife Alison journey to the Oregon coast where they've rented a house. Their landlord is a strange old man who tells Michael the tale of a clock, a Cuckold's Clock, an antique clock that stops if your partner is unfaithful. But who, in these modern times, actually believes in a clock with special powers?
