The Cubonic Plague

Did you ever notice how people arriving at work in the morning generally have some level of energy? But by the end of the day, if they've been deeply humiliated, or perhaps they served as management's piñata du jour, they're left in a deep malaise, each one a victim of the deadly Cubonic Plague. It festers, creating blistering sores on your very soul!

Yet, if energy is finite matter, it can't just disappear, no matter how it's beaten out of you. It must go somewhere, and leave it to a hippie grandmother, her loving grandson, and a cast of zany characters to discover the truth about the 'liquid gold,' the 'spewage' that's emitted every day by the citizens of corporate America. Who knew it was a renewable source of energy?

This is a cautionary tale. Be scared! Be very, very scared, as the Cubonic Plague is an equal-opportunity contagion. It will sneak up on you, snuffing the life out of you, leaving you in a vegetative state - if you are lucky enough to survive!
