The Critter Art Museum follows Aggie the squirrel through his adventures as he discovers the museum on opening day. He loves cleaning and tending to his burrow all by himself. Aggie finds himself curious if there could be more excitement outside of his normal routine. As he enjoys his toast and tea he reads the news about the newest art museum in town. The anticipation rises and before Aggie realizes it, he's dashing towards the exhibit.
The pictured art in this book are pieces the author made for the Hattiesburg Pocket Museum where they were then displayed for the entire month of June in 2024. Aggie is a critter the author imagined while creating the concept of the art museum. What would a little critter make art from? What kind of art would they appreciate?
