James Maki, influenced by his father, explores the heights and depths of human science to equip man with traits their bodies naturally lack. Once relocated to New Mexico for research purposes, James, following in his father's footsteps, decides to involve his fifteen-year-old son in the business. Opposite to what Jasper is told, the research study on human development isn't meant for some great cause, which he soon traces with his intelligence.
