The Cracked Bell

Jehaima is an apprentice of music in a land where song can harm or heal. It is not a good day to have the farsense. Two wizards are dueling, and their songs are painful rasps to the sensitive.

Then the day turns much, much worse. The duel ends with a blast striking everyone with the farsense. Some of the most talented musicians die. Others fall into comas. When Jehaima comes to, she and her best friends Mouse and Renata are three of the most capable singers remaining.

Something is very wrong. The energy of songs is draining away. The queen thinks she hears something. And one of their teachers has gone mad.

Can Jehaima and her friends undo the damage the wizards dealt-before the world shakes itself apart?
