The Cottage in the Irish Hills is a non-fiction book that takes place in the Irish Hills of Michigan. The story is centered around Carrie who is the daughter of Irish parents who get married young and struggle to make ends meet. Several tragedies occur that test their love for each other and it is when they are faced with telling the the truth or a lie they have to decide which path they will take.
