Beskrivelse
Thanks to Jesus, salvation is now available for all, by grace.
The question of the day is "Who receives God's mercy and grace, and why?"
Beyond how we receive salvation, we might also ask "What is salvation, and when do we receive it?"
Good questions deserve good answers. Among the denominations you will find
many different and conflicting answers to those questions. It is entirely reasonable
to suspect that many-perhaps most-of those answers are wrong.
The Common Sense Gospel steps outside denominational boundaries;
it takes a fresh, clean scriptural look at salvation as presented in the Bible.
Here you will see that justification and salvation are not the same:
they are different things, at different times.
Every professing Christian needs to understand the difference.
We will also look at other doctrines including:
What did Jesus finish on the cross?
What happens when we die?
Is there everlasting, conscious torment in a fiery hell?
What about the immortal soul?
What does it mean to be born again?
What is repentance?
What is faith and what does it mean to believe?
What does "works" mean, in different contexts?
When do we have eternal security: once saved, always saved?
Is it possible to lose salvation?
Does God have a plan?
What does God want?
Perhaps it seems bold to try to answer all these questions in one book.
If you are curious and open-minded then please be bold, and read.
Herein you will find answers to these questions. After all, we should
be able to "connect the dots" of doctrine-and arrive at a harmonious,
complete and common sense understanding of the gospel.
