The Colosseum : Pilot Episode

Welcome to the Colosseum! A GameLit, Near Future, Sci-fi Series.

It's 2060 and the ten highest ranked Evolution players from around the world are invited to the Colosseum, to take their chance at making it their home. They must prove themselves against the best. If they lose, they go home.

Cypher, a gamer who has reached fame through victory in the Colosseum, is humbled by an unfortunate diagnosis. He decides to enter the trials to become a trainer within the Colosseum. Cypher will have to overcome his self-serving tendencies and put his student athletes above himself. He'll have to make his student's problems, his own.

Ken, enraged by Cypher taking what he thought should have been his, is sent on the opposite path: a path of destruction, a path of revenge. He hates the game developers, and most of all, he hates Cypher. After pushing his body to the limit, he uses his new found power to target Cypher's students. He plans to use the Las Vegas virtual battle arena to obliterate each student, live, in front of millions! And ruin Cypher's chances at making trainer.

Can Cypher hold it together? Can he work with his team and prepare them for one of the Colosseum's biggest threats? Does he have enough wisdom and connections to help those who have been fated to him?
