The Coeur d'Or Mystery

The second in The Adventures of Samantha Bishop series. When the French racing driver and Samantha's friend Pierre Gilbert is killed during a road race in Italy, his widow discovers that he had a yacht secretly moored in the South of England and asks Samantha if she would take a look at it for her. Deciding to make a long weekend of it so begins another adventure for Samantha Bishop and her friend Nicola White as the fearless flappers stumble upon an international gun smuggling gang, bringing arms into the Irish Free State and who will stop at nothing to keep the troublesome twosome from discovering the truth, including murder.
