Christos, a young man from humble beginnings living simply in rural 18th century Italy has a dream to create and be an artist. Fortune guides him well and he achieves what he wanted. But his success leads to a desire for greater fame, wealth, and power, which become his pursuits. So overwhelming the kind, generous, warm-hearted person he once was. Fate takes a hand when he feels his life is seemingly at its peak. Everything starts to spiral downwards, descending Christos into a dark place of depression that he believes is inescapable, when something long forgotten reappears. The Cloak is a timeless tale that is as resonant today as it was three hundred years ago.
