The Chronicles of P'Neumia

Despite the alien nature of P'neumia's world, where everything is underwater, the reader will want to know her as she learns, much to her surprise, that her society has social classes and snobbery. Themes include the conflict between enjoying animal nature and suppressing it, a short life focused on bodily enjoyment versus a longer life focused on the achievements of the mind.
