Erik, Chamberstown's lead postman, hates Christmas ever since he joined the post office. His hum-drum day-to-day life is joyless, and Christmas is the worst season EVER at work with millions of packages and letters to deliver late into the night. Delivering packages to the new bookshop, he meets the bookshop keeper named Shania who just moved into town. He sees the Christmas spirit in her, and her bright and cheery love of the holiday is somehow warming him like a cup of hot cocoa on a cold night.

Shania just moved to Chamberstown from her big-city lifestyle to start her own bookshop in her friend Lindsay's hometown. Her favorite holiday? Christmas.
