The Christian Review (Volume II, 1845)

The second volume of the classic Restoration Movement journal, The Christian Review, features interesting articles by Tolbert Fanning (who later went on to found The Gospel Advocate with David Lipscomb), Jesse B. Ferguson (who later lost his mind and thought he could communicate with dead people), and many others.

Of interest are the articles on the place of baptism in the plan of salvation, the "gift of the Holy Spirit," Tolbert Fanning being slandered in a Baptist publication, lawsuits between religious leaders, and many more!

This updated print edition has been reformatted, with larger and clearer font type, but (as much as is possible) keeps the pagination of the original, for the sake of researchers.
