The Prophet Isaiah foretold the suffering of the Servant of the LORD in Chapter 52:13 through the end of Chapter 53. He would be marred more than any other man and his form would not look human. He was rejected by men and struck by God. He was crushed and the punishment by God that brings us peace was placed on him. He carried our sins and was a guilt offering to the LORD. By the bruise to the Servant, we are healed. The Servant will see his offspring and prolong his days once he pours out his soul to death and carries the sins of us all. After the anguish of his soul, he sees the light and is satisfied. By his knowledge, he makes many right before the LORD. This book shares 83 English translations of this passage.
