Monsters come in all shapes and sizes, Liam Morgan knows. He also knows they aren't relegated to the far corners of his closet or under his bed. Monsters plague his family in the form of memories and bloodthirsty criminals, drawing his dad, Detective Ryan Morgan, into a dangerous spiral in his search for them.

When young women start to die in morbidly beautiful arrays of wildflowers around Cedar Fork, Detective Morgan is called on to catch their killer. His demanding occupation would be trying enough on its own. Balancing it with the protecting his two young sons from murderers and public opinion threatens to tear him and their family apart from the inside out.
