At much too early an age, four gorgeous twenty-somethings find their lives stalled in southern California. Alice and Nia are virtually unemployable. Suzie and Marina have burned out on their teaching jobs. Alice's solution is to capitalize on what they all do best and start an escort service. What she sees in her friends, other than beauty, is anyone's guess, but she insists nonetheless. Until she invades the widower Alex's beachfront hermitic existence and, along with a torrid affair, finds someone who actually knows something about the business. Alex has his doubts, but sets up a thorough training program that even includes classroom instruction and an odd notion of homework.
