The Catholic Spiritual Journey

The Catholic Spiritual Journey contributes to the on-going discussion of how we can best respond to the challenges and opportunities of the postpandemic world. The Catholic tradition contributes faith perspectives, moral guidance, and personal witness to the ongoing societal effort to make the emerging contemporary world more hospitable. Through the lens of "spirituality," and more specifically the idea of "spiritual journey," the Nicene Creed, the theological and moral virtues, the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, the Beatitudes, major liturgical feasts, and holy people, the book explores how the Catholic spiritual tradition offers hope in challenging times. The book offers these Catholic and Christian resources in the form of brief mediations and a personal reflection. It also highlights the importance of solidarity that Pope Francis views as important for creating a better world.
